Job Descriptions:
• Must hold a ITI (Welder) certificate. Completion of an apprenticeship under a professional maintenance technician a plus.
• Must have up to 10 years’ experience as Electrician in a foundry.
• Thorough working knowledge of foundry equipment Installation and Maintenance, their usage, and safety procedures.
• To carry out fabrication works as and when required during maintenance schedules and also carry out general fabrication works as per the requirements.
• To execute the mechanical installation work of all machines as per the instructions and requirements.
• Utilize plasma, gas, electric arc in welding metallic and composite materials together.
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
• Use power saws, chipping knife and hand shears in cutting, beveling, and contouring metal workpieces.
• Repair structures by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling metal components using cutting torches and hand tools.
• Ability to Read drawings and to handle basic tools and Measuring instruments.
