Job Descriptions:
Roles of Quality Assistant – Fabric Checker:  Key responsibility is to inspect & check the fabric to identify the presence of fabric faults before it pass to the cutting stage.
 Perform Inspection of incoming raw materials, analyse the findings for discrepancy & photograph for recording purposes.
 Records numbers and types of defects of fabric in pre-production phase. Co-ordinate with suppliers for minimum defects.
 To check the fabrics produced, efficiently so as to get the quality output with minimum defects.
 Knowledge in Weaving & Processing defect levels & raise the relevant reports for records.
 Knowledge in 4 point systems, observe hand feel & identify the colour shade & variations of the fabric.
 Sound technical skills in inspection areas (Initial, mid line, final inspection) in Home textile industry specifically bed linen made ups.
