Job Descriptions:
Katomaran Technologies is looking for a Back-End Web Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application.
A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.
Responsibilities
Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developer with server-side logic.
Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
Focus on coding and debugging.
Collaborate with front-end developers.
Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
Implementation of security and data protection.
Design and implementation of data storage solutions.
Requirements
BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
Proven work experience as a Back-end developer.
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
Knowledge of SQL databases like Postgresql or MySQL.
Familiarity with concepts of RESTful API, ORM, MVC.
Knowledge of microservices, Docker, CI/CD is an added advantage.
Hands on experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby on Rails.
Working knowledge of CMS framework.
Familiarity with Git.
Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g., HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3)
Excellent analytical and time management skills.
Strong problem solving
Ability to work independently or with a group.
